[It's way too early in the morning when Firo's finally dropped off in Luceti. Days of battle have left him exhausted and in disarray. All he wants is to see his friends, get cleaned up, and lie down. But cleaning should probably come first.
He eases the front door shut. Filthy as he is--he's had no chance to wash off the blood and dirt that stains his skin and clothes--he knows he should head straight to the shower. But he pauses a moment and looks around. Everything looks mostly in order and, to his surprise, comfortably familiar. He's still jittery from spending so long in a warzone, but he can feel himself almost starting to relax.
He lets himself fall back against the door and rest. Just for a moment.]
