[So, after the first week of mostly normalcy for him, save for the occasional random teleporting (much to Crow's enjoyment for spooking some people, but being annoying whenever he tried to talk to some of his friends), the second week starts with a very, very different change. It's immediately noticeable the moment he wakes up, and not in the way he normally does. It doesn't feel like a computer booting up, it feels like how a normal person would wake up. Not only that, for some reason, he feels weird, as if someone flipped a switch. Now he can actually feel things, like the texture of the bed or how squishy his cheek is, but why would that--

--And then he notices from looking in a mirror that has Seto's reflection instead of his own, so yeah, enjoy what sounds like "Seto" loudly swearing and waking you up early in the morning, everyone in House 48.]

What the hell is this!?

[Later, once the chaos at House 48 dies down, you'll likely find "Seto" wandering around being...well, definitely weirder than usual. At first there's a lot of scowling going on or being rather rude. Crow is still not entirely sure what the hell is going on here and why he's stuck in his best friend's body, but eventually he'll start to get over it and can probably be found bothering people like how he normally does, or trying to play around like usual...trying being the key word there, because Crow might be severely underestimating Seto's body being able to do stuff like cartwheels and shit like he can.

Of course, there's also the real Seto, who is now in Crow's body and is probably very un-Crow like as well. Like Crow, who is trying to get used to what its like being in a human body, now Seto is in Crow's body and having to contend with everything that comes with being in a robot body, so...yep. Definitely nothing awkward happening here right now. Have fun running into either of them, or both at the same time.

Well fine, maybe I'll just get it myself, since you're clearly incapable of just handing things over...

[And now he's reaching out to try to take the glass again so that he can just go get water from the kitchen or something. (Crow you could just go get a new one from the kitchen, it doesn't have to be that one Firo's holding...)]

[They've gone too far to give up now! Firo reaches out to try and snag the glass, but Crow beats him to it.

That loss gives Firo a moment to reflect on the absurdity of what he's doing. He snatches his hands back, as if to pretend he totally wasn't doing anything.]

Fine. So long as you get it yourself, it's fine with me.

[He says as he glares at Crow.]

[Glaring right back as he leaves the room to go get water then!

...Okay, so, you get water from the sink, right? Just gonna turn the handle on the right...]

Ow! [Whoops guess who turned on the hot water by mistake.]

What's wrong?!

[Their little fight suddenly forgotten, Firo whirls around to see what's happened to Crow. There are tons of ways to hurt yourself in a kitchen, and someone who can't normally feel wouldn't be likely to know any of them.

...And then he sees the running water. And puts two and two together. And can't keep himself from smirking.]

...Nice work.

[Seto looks over his friend's face--or his face, still holding onto his hand to comfort him and calm him down. Though in the back of his mind, he realizes something. That even though he has the glove on his hand, he can't feel the warmth of his skin seeping through. It's only been a brief moment since he's held his hand, but Seto's quicker to notice things like this. He focuses on it, he looks for it, even here when he's been here for so long.

And it unsettles him a little deep down somewhere--somewhere?--to not be able to feel that warmth that he's always craved and cherished. And if Crow is him now--doesn't this mean he's human? Shouldn't he be warm?

Though again, he pushes back his thoughts for now and tries to think of an answer.]

I'm not... really sure. I-I think it might be an experiment [At least that's the only answer that makes sense for a situation like this. And as far as Seto can remember, this has happened to other people before... ] so we might have to wait until it's over to get back to normal.

[He watches Crow try to breathe and frowns, asking worriedly] Are you okay?

[He chuckles sheepishly.] I'm sorry if it's confusing at all, Grune. We're still trying to get used to it too. [Though in different ways. But moving along as not to make it worse for her;]

Are you planting some new flowers today?

[Crow glares at Firo as he runs his hand across the one that got hit by the scalding hot water from the faucet. Yep, it's pretty easy to tell what happened here, but Crow is definitely not amused about it.]

What are you smiling about? You humans must be morons to be touching or drinking this stuff. [No Crow, you're just dumb and don't know that you're not supposed to touch hot water like that.]

I...I dunno man, it's really weird. [He holds up a hand in front of his face, wiggling the fingers a little. It doesn't feel like the movement of springs and other metallic parts right now, it's...huh. He's really not sure how to describe it.]

It doesn't feel like how it did before. Is...this what it's like being a human?

[He sighs, though he's more amused than impatient.]

We usually don't touch it when it's that hot.

[He steps forward to the sink and, if Crow will let him, switches the faucet to be running tepid water.]

Run your hand under that, all right? Should make it feel better.

[Crow stares at the water suspiciously.]

How do I know that you didn't just make it hotter or something? In fact, maybe the fact that it tried to hurt us in the first place was part of your doing somehow as payback for what happened earlier.

[Oh come on Crow, Firo's not that petty...right...

...You might have to forcibly get him to actually put his hand back under the water again.]

[She shakes her head.]

Not today. I'm going to be taking care of the flowers and trees that everyone has planted. Would you like to help?

[She smiles at both of them.]

Oh, come on! You really think I'm that bad a guy?

[He tries to grab Crow's wrist to pull his hand into the water.]

You'll be fine. But you gotta hurry or else it'll hurt for a while.

[On reflex, he tries to pull his hand back away from Firo, but now he's frowning at that last thing you just said.]

Huh? Why's that?

[Firo won't give up that easily; he reaches for it again.]

'Cause you might get a burn. The cold water'll help it, but not if you take ages to do it.

...Fine, whatever. [Reluctantly, he lets Firo take his hand to try to put it under the cold water--he flinches at the unfamiliar feeling of it, but it is at least less painful than the hot water from before...]

[Firo nods, satisfied, and lets go of Crow's hand.]

Keep it under there a while longer, all right? You might get pruney, but that's better than it hurtin'.

[He watches as Crow looks his hand over and has to let out a small smile.

That's right. Seto isn't the only one who must be noticing and feeling all of these changes. It's one thing just being in another person's body but being in a completely different body... All that's different is so obvious to the both of them. So he nods.]

Yeah, it is... it must feel pretty different. [At least now Seto can... have some form of an idea of how different it really is. Because even he can notice the strange way his fingers and body feels when he moves them.] Here, look. [He takes the hand Crow's holding up and holds it with both of his gloved ones. Since he's in Crow's body, his what would be skin can't create body heat, but with the cloth of the gloves and Crow's now real skin, it should create a stronger warmth.

Even though he can't feel it... he wants Crow to. It's important that he does. This is what it feels like to be alive, this warmth is a symbol of it.]

[Crow looks down at their hands, a little confused at first, but...the longer Seto holds onto Crow's hands, the more he can actually start to feel some warmth there. It's an unfamiliar sensation, and at first he's not sure what to make of it. But...to think that this is what Seto feels whenever Crow holds onto his hands...]

Yeah, it is different. [...But then Crow smiles.] But it actually feels pretty nice right now.
