so that I know what method your character is using to try to contact him so that he can respond properly

[She...kind of sidestepped the question there. Maybe Crow wouldn't notice?]

Huh? So you're gonna go to sleep now?

[We thought people didn't usually do that until night-time...]

Probably. Just for a little while, though! [Hopefully she wouldn't oversleep.]

I know it's not very interesting, so I'm not going to make you stay or anything.

[tomodachi]

[Normally, Crow would already clear on outta here at the first sign of a definitive lack of "fun" happening, but...]

You sure? Sleeping seems kind of boring.

[Then again...he really wouldn't know what sleeping is like for most people, uh--]

[She made a face. Sleeping wasn't supposed to be exciting in the first place anyway, right? In her mind that just defeated the purpose.]

Pretty sure... What, do you have any other suggestions?

[Crow likes exciting things. Sleeping doesn't seem exciting to him.]

I dunno, something more fun than just lying there with your eyes closed? [Crow that's not really a suggestion, you're just complaining...]

[a sigh.] Oh, all right... Don't start pouting, we'll go find something more fun to do.

[She stood up, still a bit wobbly, and reached for his hand with every intention of dragging him away.]

Great! [Yay! Probably a good thing you didn't sleep with Crow hanging around nearby anyway, otherwise he might have been tempted to pull a prank on you in your sleep...actually come to think of it that would be hilarious, shame we didn't think of that until now.

He almost doesn't notice her suddenly reaching a hand out towards him, but once he does, he laughs slightly.] Come on, you don't have to drag us along--there's no way I wouldn't be able to keep myself from falling behind!

[Crow is weird, news at 11. Not because he clearly has little experience with holding hands with other people that aren't Seto.]

[Pff, like she wasn't weird too.]

Are you sure? Weren't you the one who had to lean against a tree a second ago?

[She was still offering her hand to him. Sorry Crow, she wasn't buying it.]

I didn't have to, we were just using it as an armrest for a second.

[He thus says despite the slight wobble on the first step when he moves away from the tree...]

Sure you were.

[Oddly enough, she decided to start walking backwards. Very slowly, but still.]

Then let's walk like this the whole way. We'll find out who's tired and who isn't once and for all!

Oh yeah? [CHALLENGE ACCEPTED] Alright, you're on!

[Turning around so that he can start walking backwards too with her.] Just don't cry when we beat you at this game, okay?

There's no way you'd ever catch me crying in the first place!

[It was entirely possible that she would start falling behind, as she was more concerned with staying upright than going fast.]

Would you even know what to do if I started to cry?

[Err--quick Crow, of course you got this.] Yeah, I'd know what to do. Wouldn't be the first time someone cried from just how awesome I am.

[Well, more like they "cried because he did something stupid or said something that made them cry", when taking his best friend Seto into account. Although, his ideas of how to make someone stop crying are probably strange...]

[a grin.] Yeah? Because I haven't seen anything worth crying over yet.

[Jane, why are you egging him on? This is a terrible idea.]

Then how about this? [He then proceeds to lean down so that he can stand on his hands, and then walking backwards on them a couple of steps now. His larger wings are a bit of a nuisance and he probably should be better taking into account the added weight now, but YEAHHH WE'RE AWESOME /o/] Feel like giving up yet?

Well~ [She touched her cheek and shook her head.]

Nope. I'm still not crying, so I'm not even close to giving up!

[And of course, she saw this as a perfect opportunity to nudge him a bit. This time will be different!]

[tomodachi]

Hey! [This time certainly is different. The nudge normally wouldn't do much and he would be quick to correct his posture, but the added weight of having larger wings now makes that less easy. So when Jane nudges him, it actually catches him by surprise as he topples over in his attempt to keep himself standing, ending up on the ground. However, he's quick to get back up and give her an indignant look.]

What was that for?

For fun, of course! After seeing you do that I had to at least try.

[Fortunately for him, she was too busy laughing to guard herself against any kind of retaliation.]

Well in that case--[ATTEMPTS TO PUSH HER OVER TOO]

[SDLFHSLKFH. Jane would end up taking quite a fall as well thanks to that, with tears stinging her eyes thanks to the sudden pain.]

Owwwwww!

[tomodachi]

[Told you that you'd cry. ...Except, um, oops, sometimes Crow forgets that not everyone else is able to fall over without getting injured like he can.]

That didn't really hurt that much, did it?

Of course not! That just caught me a tiny bit off guard, that's all!

[Except for the whole bleeding wound thing, at least. She'd have to put some bandaids on her hands later.]

But your hands are bleeding. [Normally he wouldn't be that concerned, but...to be honest, being what he is, seeing blood isn't very common to him, so he can't help but stare a little.]

[disastergirl]

Well... Yeah, but it's still not that bad.

[Once she realized he was staring, she picked herself up and held her hands behind her back. Awkward!]
