At first it might seem like the person holding the book is holding it wrong, but it'll become quickly apparent that he is holding it the right way, it's him that's upside down, possibly hanging from a tree as he examines the journal.]

So this thing actually works, and you guys can see and hear me, right? [A slight shake of the book, as if to confirm it.] Geez, this makes some of the books at home seem lame by comparison...

But I gotta say, I wasn't expecting to suddenly find myself here, and to think that there's actually people here too. Heh...I guess this is where everyone's been hiding out this whole time, huh? Not like it really matters anymore, this place already seems somewhat better than the last place I was at...

[There's a slight pause before he speaks again.] Actually, there is something I want to know. Have any of you seen a guy? About this tall [makes a gesture to try indicating the height, albeit somewhat inaccurate from where he's hanging upside-down], wears a locket, and kind of cries a lot? Named "Seto"? It's important that I know if he's here or not. If he is, great, tell me where he is, and if not, then don't bother worrying about it.

[And without much further preamble, he ends it there to wait for replies. But it's also entirely possible to spot him while you're out and about as well...]

Really? [Oh my god our favorite book!!] Great! You better let me see it when we get there, got it? Gotta make sure you've been keeping it in good condition, you know!

Don't worry, I'll give it to you when we get to the house. I've been keeping it safe in my room.

[Well he let Mia borrow it once but she kept it safe because she knew how important it was to him]

Good! [Yes, good best friend...wait, there's one more thing we want to ask about.] ...And what about the ring we gave you? You've still been keeping that safe too right?

Of course! [He let's go of Crow's hand and stops walking for a moment to open his locket and pull the ring out.]

See? It's never left my locket.

[He pauses to look at it a moment--he doesn't make any move to take it or anything like that, after all, it's Seto's now. But he laughs a little before playfully using a hand to mess with Seto's hair.]

Well then, looks like I trusted it to the right person!

[HEY NOW...

What is with people and messing up his already messy hair? But he laughs anyways, using his free hand to pat his hair back down so it looks... decent. Because decent is the most you can get with his hair.]

Mm, you did. [And he's glad he entrusted it to him. He puts the ring back in his locket now so he doesn't accidently drop it or anything]

[Because ~~you're cute and~~ it's fun to mess with your hair, that's why people do it. Trying to pat your hair back down just makes us want to mess with it again...which he does once more, just because, before finally moving his hand away.]

So what kind of people have you been hanging around with here? Any of 'em actually worth talking to? [TELL US ABOUT ALL YOUR FRIENDS...]

[airhgoaiehg Crow pls. Seto chuckles again, pats Crow's hand away and attempts to pat his hair down again. Gonna grab his hand again and start walking speaking of who he's been hanging with--]

Yeah, I think so! I've made a lot of friends here but I live with Kazuma, Tao and Firo so you can talk to them first. Kazuma's kinda quiet but he's really nice and likes to read. Tao is like a cat...person, I think. She wears a mask so you can't see her face but she says "meow" a lot and even has cat ears! [Gesturing to the top of his head where cat ears would be] And Firo worries about me a lot but he's really cool and can fight really well with a knife.

[Thinking...ah.]

I think those were some of the people that were talking on this book earlier. [Kazuma is easy to poke fun of, Tao is kind of weird, and Firo...] That Firo guy doesn't really seem that cool--'sides, he wouldn't tell us where we could find you on here at first, so he was definitely no help at all...

[Annoying jerk...no that is not hypocritical to think what are you talking about.]

Really? [He can't say that surprises him since Crow directly asked for Seto over the journals. But he smiles sheepishly at what he said about Firo]

I guess that isn't too surprising. He doesn't really like it when people he doesn't know call out for me... but he really is cool! I promise.

[Ugh Firo you are stupidly overprotective, it's not like we were suspicious or anything...so Crow sort of rolls his eyes at that, before he jerks a thumb at himself.]

But I bet he's not as cool as me though, right?

[He chuckles at that and nods.]

Right. You're the coolest, Crow.

Right! ...And as our best friend, that makes you cool too.
