[Hello Luceti, you are greeted today with...an upside-down view for this person's entry. At first it might seem like the person holding the book is holding it wrong, but it'll become quickly apparent that he is holding it the right way, it's him that's upside down, possibly hanging from a tree as he examines the journal.]

So this thing actually works, and you guys can see and hear me, right? [A slight shake of the book, as if to confirm it.] Geez, this makes some of the books at home seem lame by comparison...

But I gotta say, I wasn't expecting to suddenly find myself here, and to think that there's actually people here too. Heh...I guess this is where everyone's been hiding out this whole time, huh? Not like it really matters anymore, this place already seems somewhat better than the last place I was at...

[There's a slight pause before he speaks again.] Actually, there is something I want to know. Have any of you seen a guy? About this tall [makes a gesture to try indicating the height, albeit somewhat inaccurate from where he's hanging upside-down], wears a locket, and kind of cries a lot? Named "Seto"? It's important that I know if he's here or not. If he is, great, tell me where he is, and if not, then don't bother worrying about it.

[And without much further preamble, he ends it there to wait for replies. But it's also entirely possible to spot him while you're out and about as well...]

[It's a few minutes after some people have spoken to Crow when Seto opens his own journal, just to see if anything's happening around the village. And to see what new feathers have arrived of course.

For the past year, shortly after Crow had first left, Seto has never once truly expected anyone from his world to come to Luceti. It wasn't that he had lost all hope, but there had always been a big part of him that felt so... well, almost what seemed like jealousy and sadness because so many others had seen their friends come. He had seen so many people rejoice over being reunited with their friends or even family.

Seto had yet to get an opportunity like that. To feel so happy over seeing someone so familiar to him again. It all just seemed... like an unreachable dream, to ever see and be with his best friend, Sai or that silver haired girl again.

PF has just so happened to be the only thing that's kept his hope somewhat alive, even if there isn't much left to it.

Now, here he is, staring down at this one particular entry in shock with tears welling up in his eyes as he listens to the voice on the recording over and over and staring at the face that's on the camera's screen. He's here. He's really here. Right now.

His best friend.

Crow.

It renders him speechless for a good five minutes. His brain can't even begin to process words or actions

When he finally reaches and presses the button to respond, his entire body is trembling though he isn't quite sure why. Anticipation? Excitement? Both sound just about right.]

C...C-Crow!!

[It's the "cries a lot" description that really confirms it.

Firo blinks a few times at the strange camera angle before answering.]

Seto? Why do you wanna know?

[He can't help but be suspicious, and with Seto finally all back to normal after the draft incident he's not taking chances.]

[Oh, so someone does know who he is? ...But you should have just told us where he was, because that's what we care about right now.]

None of your business, that's why. [Wow, very mature Crow.] Why do you wanna know?

[He narrows his eyes--that's a red flag if he's ever seen one.]

It sure as hell is my business. You keep an attitude like that and I ain't gonna tell you anything.

[Tch--he'd fold his arms if he didn't need one of them to hold this book right now. Instead he just glares at the journal.]

It's none of your business to know what I want with my friends. Besides, I don't need you to tell me anything--I can just find him on my own if I have to.

[Kazuma was passing by Crow, reading a book when he overhears him talking about Seto. It makes him stop and look to who was talking about him. He's never seen this guy around here before and he knew Seto?]

How do you know Seto?

Huh? [Looks down towards the ground where Kazuma is standing, still currently hanging upside-down in the tree. Someone else who knows Seto? Man, he sure is popular...]

What's it to you?

No, I'm sorry but I haven't seen anyone named Seto.

You gave a decent description of him. Hopefully he'll show up soon.

Well...[He's my housemate? No that's too personal.] We're acquainted.

Really? [Well that's obvious, you knew his name. But he still seems kind of suspicious.] How so?

[Crow that's pretty much what he was trying to ask you before]

[He has to resist the urge to roll his eyes. Didn't we say that you didn't have to bother replying if you didn't see him? Ugh, oh well...]

Yeah, well, I'll just have to keep looking around for him, that's all. He couldn't have gotten that far...

We're-...hold on, I'm asking you that. [Now he was getting suspicious.]

Are you a friend of his I'm not aware of or...?

[Aww come on we're just some dumb kid in a tree, what's there to be suspicious of? He starts swinging back and forth slightly.]

Heh--not just any friend, I'm his best friend. [A fact he seems to be very proud of. And then he swings and propels himself up so that he's now sitting upright on the tree branch rather than hanging upside down from it.] So come on, if you know him, tell me where he is already so that I can go find him.

[Oh, my, now this is a little confusing. Grune at first tries tilting her head, then flips her own journal to get his picture to turn out right. There. That's better.

...And then the last thing he says catches her attention very thoroughly.]

Oh, I know Seto! He's such a sweet boy. Is he one of your friends?

[How wonderful!]

[...Well you seem slightly more tolerable than one or two other people he's spoken to so far. ~~coughFirocough~~]

As a matter of fact, he is. Know where I can find him?

[Firo didn't think of that, and he glares back, until Crow's word choice really hits him and his expression changes to one of confusion.]

You're his friend?

[That's preferable to somebody looking to hurt him, but Firo can't imagine sweet little Seto getting along with somebody so rude. And wait a minute... Didn't Seto tell him that everybody back home was dead?]

You met him here before?

[It seems unlikely, considering how the kid talked about Luceti and the journal before.]

[Of course we're his friend, why would we lie about something like that...]

No, elsewhere. This place is completely new to me. [And no, we don't really feel like telling you about where we were before.]

Back where... Back where he's from? But everybody's supposed to be dead there!

[But then, Crow did seem surprised at there being people here... Damn it, this thinking is hurting Firo's head.]

Yeah, I know--which is exactly why I need to find him.

[Gotta go let our bff know that we're not dead anymore!!]

I'll lend you a hand if you need it.

...Look, I'd love to believe you.

[Well, not you specifically, but he'd like to think Seto had friends back home. ]

But I can't just take your word for all this. You got some way to prove to me that you know him?

[Ugh]

I don't have to prove anything to you--as far as I can see, you're the one who looks suspicious here and unwilling to help a guy find his best friend. [And on top of being in strange places with no memory of how he got there, it's just putting him in a worse mood that he's already tempted to shut this book and conversation down if he doesn't get an answer soon.]

[There's a slight pause as if he's almost considering it, but then he waves it off.]

Nah, I can go find him myself--I just needed to know if anyone else had seen him pass through here or where he might be hanging out at. [Crow, the polite thing to say is "no thank you"...]

[...That was kind of a neat trick, ngl.]

Best friend...? I don't know where he is exactly at the moment, but I'm sure you could reach him through the journal. Just...what's your name?

[He just grins at that now] Hey now, didn't anyone ever teach you any manners? You gotta give your name first before you start asking for someone else's name.
