[Hello Luceti, you are greeted today with...an upside-down view for this person's entry. At first it might seem like the person holding the book is holding it wrong, but it'll become quickly apparent that he is holding it the right way, it's him that's upside down, possibly hanging from a tree as he examines the journal.]

So this thing actually works, and you guys can see and hear me, right? [A slight shake of the book, as if to confirm it.] Geez, this makes some of the books at home seem lame by comparison...

But I gotta say, I wasn't expecting to suddenly find myself here, and to think that there's actually people here too. Heh...I guess this is where everyone's been hiding out this whole time, huh? Not like it really matters anymore, this place already seems somewhat better than the last place I was at...

[There's a slight pause before he speaks again.] Actually, there is something I want to know. Have any of you seen a guy? About this tall [makes a gesture to try indicating the height, albeit somewhat inaccurate from where he's hanging upside-down], wears a locket, and kind of cries a lot? Named "Seto"? It's important that I know if he's here or not. If he is, great, tell me where he is, and if not, then don't bother worrying about it.

[And without much further preamble, he ends it there to wait for replies. But it's also entirely possible to spot him while you're out and about as well...]

[Oh, my, now this is a little confusing. Grune at first tries tilting her head, then flips her own journal to get his picture to turn out right. There. That's better.

...And then the last thing he says catches her attention very thoroughly.]

Oh, I know Seto! He's such a sweet boy. Is he one of your friends?

[How wonderful!]

[...Well you seem slightly more tolerable than one or two other people he's spoken to so far. ~~coughFirocough~~]

As a matter of fact, he is. Know where I can find him?

Being unaware of his thoughts, though, Grune is basically over the moon. Another friend for Seto!]

Hmm.... I don't know. Maybe you could call him on your journal.

[She's just fantastic at explaining things, by the way.]

And how am I supposed to do that? [He's new to this whole journal thing and he had been hoping that this would have gotten his friend's attention already.]

Oh, you just need to find his name and then you can talk to him.

Oh, that's all? [Huh, okay, he can totally do that. ~~Or he would have if Seto hadn't finally spoken up soon enough.~~ In the meantime though...what are you supposed to say when someone helps you out again?]

Oh yes!] My name is Grune. What's your name?

"Grune"? [Nope, not a familiar sounding name. But since you did offer your name first, he guesses he has to give his too now.]

It's "Crow"--you know, just like the birds.

["Pretty"? No way, totally not the word he would have used to describe it...]

It's the best name there is--but how do you know Seto?

Oh, we met each other one day and had a very good time together. And then after that, we were very good friends!

[They made sand castles at the beach, actually. Can't get much more harmless than that.]

Huh... [That's...pretty much how Crow and Seto became friends--granted that day involved being a jerk to him at first but it was still a good time. ~~And then we died oops~~] 'You meet him here, or was it elsewhere?

I met him here. Where did you meet him?

Somewhere else. [Very descriptive, this one.] But it wasn't as..."lively" as this place seems to be.

[Not counting Seto this is already more people than he had ever met at one time in his life. A lesser man would say it's intimidating but to Crow it's just..."different", maybe.]

[He must be happy that he came here, then, so he can make even more friends!]

Nope. There was barely anyone else around. [He's happy he's here if only because it means he's apparently not "dead" anymore.] Hopefully this place won't be as dull.

Well, sometimes things change or we have special visitors! And sometimes people learn how to do new things all at once.

What? No way, that sounds way too weird... [He'd glance at his own hands to check his own nails (or lack of them) except that he's wearing gloves.] Why would something like that even happen?
