[Hello everyone! We hope you've been having a good day, that things are going well for you, and that you don't care about the kid that suddenly jumps down from the roof near you without any warning. Because that's exactly what Crow is doing as we speak: all day he's been climbing up onto the roofs of different small houses or trees, and then jumping down, trying to get the wings to work. You see, Crow is restless, and when he's restless, he tends to do...well, stupid things sometimes.

Of course the wings don't work though and he plummets like a stone, but luckily lands right on his feet just fine in most cases, or even if he doesn't land so gracefully, he gets right back up and walks it off. Eventually though he seems to have gotten frustrated.]

What's the point of having wings if they don't even let you fly!?

[If you're going to approach him, be careful about having anything shiny on your person when you do: Crow sometimes has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him as well. ((ooc: Don't worry though, you will get your stuff back if he actually tries to take anything.))]

[There's a long pause, before he shrugs and proceeds to sit down cross-legged across from her--there is no rule against it, after all.]

[disastergirl]

[She stared at him for a moment, as if she was trying to figure him out, but eventually she opted for a lopsided smile instead.]

I hope you're not expecting me to entertain you or something.

[tomodachi]

[Huh? Well...]

But being "entertaining" is one of the best things to be, you know.

[disastergirl]

The only problem is that everyone has a different opinion on what's entertaining and what's not.

[She hugged herself against the cold. Maybe sitting on the ground hadn't been such a good idea after all.]

[tomodachi]

[Unlike Jane, Crow doesn't appear to be affected at all by the cold--he seem perfectly at ease.]

Well some people wouldn't know what real entertainment was even if it was staring them right in the face... [Like Firo for example I mean uh]

[It wasn't that she didn't notice, but that could wait a bit. Besides, there were other things she wanted to ask first.]

Oh yeah? Then what would you call "real entertainment"?

[tomodachi]

Like what you did before! Or playing fun games, not boring stuff like working or whatever.

[disastergirl]

I already figured out on my own that something like working wouldn't count! [She was in good cheer regardless, though. To be honest it was rare for her to get along with someone right off the bat like this.]

...Hey, aren't you cold at all?

[tomodachi]

[While it's true that he looks like he might be dressed warmly enough, Crow still doesn't seem to notice or is even bothered at all, not even a shiver or any kind of reaction to the cold.]

No, why?

[disastergirl]

Because I'm freezing over here! [A lot of that had to do with her wearing a dress despite the weather. Also exaggerating on her part, can't forget that.]

Are your clothes really warm or what?

[tomodachi]

[His clothes probably are warm, but just like the cold, he can't actually tell.]

I guess? Does it matter?

[disastergirl]

I guess not... [It wasn't like knowing one way or the other was going to help her.]

I just know I'm going to catch something if I stay out here much longer, though. [She managed to pick herself up without too much trouble, at least.]

[tomodachi]

[Crow watches her get up as he shrugs.]

Suit yourself. [But he'll get up too--rather than getting up like a normal person though, he puts his hands down on the ground and hoists himself upright in the air, legs overhead as he's doing a handstand like the showoff he is.]

[disastergirl]

[Whoa what. Well, that explained why he had asked if she could do any acrobatic tricks!

But...now she had a sudden urge to push him over. Maybe just a little one wouldn't hurt. As long as he didn't actually fall over and she gave him a scare it would be fine, right? Right. Off she went to give him a light push!]

I always do!

[tomodachi]

[!!!

He wasn't expecting her to do that, but even though Crow gets pushed, he doesn't get toppled over--in fact, she'll find that he seems a little hard to move and would require a little more force than just a light push to get him to fall. But rather than being mad, he decides to be cocky as he now proceeds to hold himself up with only one hand now.]

Heh, you're gonna have to try a lot harder than that if you're hoping to knock us over.

[disastergirl]

[Huh, that was odd. She had been expecting her efforts to have more effect than that, but truth be told she also saw it as a challenge. She couldn't back down now! ...Especially since he had seen fit to show off. That was just rubbing salt in the wound.]

I'm going to get you this time!

[She took a few steps back and decided to try a more shoulder check-like sort of manoeuvre. Hey, if it worked on that pillar in Volcannon Trap then it would definitely work here!

Or so she thought.]

[tomodachi]

[Yep, that would be enough force to get him to wobble, and it almost looks like he's going to fall and hit the ground...but before his hand can slip, he decides to use both hands now to cartwheel until he's about a foot away, lifting a hand back up to make a dismissive hand gesture while holding himself upright with the other.]

See? Told'ya it wouldn't be easy!

[disastergirl]

[Aw man! So close.

Okay, not really, but thinking about it that way made her feel better.]

Then I'll just keep trying!

[She still wasn't feeling that great, but that wasn't going to stop her at this point. This time Jane decided to try something a little different: she pulled her ribbon out of her hair, looped it around his ankle and just started to pull. Drastic times called for drastic measures!]

[tomodachi]

[He watches a little curiously, ankle moving with the pull, but he just puts his other hand back down momentarily, keeping his balance. Despite being upside down for sometime now, he doesn't appear to be getting light-headed at all.]

Is that all you've got?

[disastergirl]

[When she heard Crow's remark she really started putting her back into it. Sure, she was lacking in raw strength, but if nothing else she made up for it in determination. Of course, that was also a weakness of hers at times...]

O-of course not! [a short pause.] Hasn't all the blood rushed to your head yet?

[She decided to yank on her ribbon right after he answered. Maybe she could catch him off guard.]

[tomodachi]

No. [A slight pause as he considers something.] Why, is that something that happens with most hu--[But then his ankle gets yanked and he just barely avoids falling flat on his face or on his back as he catches himself with a hand, springing himself to land upright back on his feet now. Whatever he was about to say seems momentarily forgotten about.]

Okay, that was a little better than your other attempts...

[disastergirl]

[Jane blinked. "Hu"? She could only think of one word that began with that sound. If she was right, maybe he was just like...]

Never mind that. What were you going to say before? "Something that happened with most"... humans?

[Despite the gravity of her questions she still looked more curious than anything else.]

[tomodachi]

Huh? [...Oh right, what he was going to say before. After a slight pause--]

Yeah? So what if that was what I was gonna say before? [As if judging to see what her reaction is, if she's figured it out or not.]

[disastergirl]

[In her experience, anyone who used the word "human" like that wasn't human themselves. The conclusion also made a few things make a lot more sense...]

Well, it's a big hint, isn't it? It's like you wanted me to figure out that you aren't human.

[Even a surprise like that wasn't going to stop her from being blunt.]

[tomodachi]

[No, he didn't--not intentionally, anyway. Sometimes asking things about humans like that just kind of accidentally slips out--Seto didn't quite put it together until we spelled it out for him a little better, so he doesn't always realize that saying that makes him look suspicious. He folds his arms, looking a little haughty.]

...And? So what if I'm not? Got a problem with it?
