[Hello everyone! We hope you've been having a good day, that things are going well for you, and that you don't care about the kid that suddenly jumps down from the roof near you without any warning. Because that's exactly what Crow is doing as we speak: all day he's been climbing up onto the roofs of different small houses or trees, and then jumping down, trying to get the wings to work. You see, Crow is restless, and when he's restless, he tends to do...well, stupid things sometimes.

Of course the wings don't work though and he plummets like a stone, but luckily lands right on his feet just fine in most cases, or even if he doesn't land so gracefully, he gets right back up and walks it off. Eventually though he seems to have gotten frustrated.]

What's the point of having wings if they don't even let you fly!?

[If you're going to approach him, be careful about having anything shiny on your person when you do: Crow sometimes has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him as well. ((ooc: Don't worry though, you will get your stuff back if he actually tries to take anything.))]

You didn't seriously think those wings would hold your weight, did you?

But they're wings, what else are they for if not for flying... [A slight pause as he actually takes notice of who he's talking to now, before turning his attention to the large canine Kiba's riding on.] What's with the dog?

[keepitcanine]

Why do you think? You're not one of those new feathers, are you?

[ The dog barks, wagging his tail. ]

And his name is Akamaru. My partner, and better company than half the morons here.

No. I've been stuck in this place for a while now.

[He just didn't think about the how the wings worked too much until recently--and honestly that's not as interesting at the moment as the large dog we're looking at.] "Akamaru"? Huh...I didn't know dogs could get that big--aren't they supposed to be a lot smaller than that?

Then isn't the answer obvious? Hasn't anybody tried to get you in the wing before?

[ He snorts. ]

And no, not where I come from. He was pretty small when he was little. Kind of kitten-sized for a few years.

[Well, that sounded a bit familiar. Luckily she lived on the first floor of her building, so she didn't even have to raise her voice that much after opening her window.]

It's probably meant to be some kind of cruel joke! What else could it be?

[...It was a little sobering to see how she must have looked when she tried her own hand at flying.]

[Glancing towards the window--he wasn't actually expecting to get a reply for that.]

That's such a dumb joke to have--if you're gonna put wings on stuff, obviously it should be able to fly, like how birds do. [Even though that doesn't actually apply to some birds with wings like chickens or penguins......]

I never said that it wasn't dumb. [takes a seat on the windowsill.]

But you can think of it in two ways: either they're just stupid and couldn't figure out that wings are for flying, or they made the wings useless on purpose. [She pouted. While Jane knew that some birds couldn't fly, that didn't do much to change her feelings on the matter.]

[Crow folds his arms across himself, almost pouting now too. Considering his namesake, that's rather disappointing to have wings only for them to not work...]

Yeah well, they're stupid either way whether they did it on purpose or not.

[She almost cracked a smile at that. It was kind of nice to know that she wasn't the only one frustrated about it.]

Well, I can't argue with that... [A pause.] Hey, do you think there's a way to fix them? As long as we're stuck with them we might as well try to find out.

[You know, it's not very healthy to jump down infront of a person without any warning. Especially when the person has a fighting reactions.

So, by the time he sees her, there's a foot a few inches away from his face, and a Yuffie just staring at him.]

[WHOA WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT

To his credit though he doesn't flail, he just leans away from the foot in his face to glare at her.]

Hey, what's the big deal?

[Okay, she'll put her leg back down, since he doesn't do anything else.]

And your reaction is to act like you're gonna kick me in the face?

...Would it have been better if it was a punch? But yeah, it's a normal reaction for me. You shouldn't jump down infront of people without a warning.

[Watching from a branch on a tree!]

Hey, genius! Y'know the only way you'd fly is if you're actually programmed to, right?

Huh? [Oh, hey Vanellope.] "Programmed"?

[sugarglitch]

Yeah! [She hops right down from the branch - pretty high up, but she glitches half way down, and lands neatly on her feet. Tucking her hands into the front pockets of her hoodie, she walks right over to him.]

Can't fly if it ain't in your code, after all!

[tomodachi]

[Well...okay true, it wasn't something programmed into us before obviously since we didn't have wings until now, but--]

Then why even bother having wings if you can't fly with them?

[sugarglitch]

Dunno! But a lotta characters get weird designs all the time! Just ask any of the ladies from those fighting games! [She shrugs.]

Anyway, what'cha tryin' to fly for?

[Firo stumbles backwards to avoid getting hit by the falling Crow. Once he realizes that he's not being attacked and that he knows who this is, he stares, biting his lip to keep from yelling. Didn't they talk about roofs? Though it was silly of Firo to come away from that conversation thinking Crow would listen.]

...What the hell are you doin'?

[tomodachi]

Huh--oh, hey!

[Well if it isn't one of our favorite people to annoy sometimes! Also he didn't even answer your question with that greeting, sorry Firo.]

[Grudgingly, Firo returns the greeting.]

Hey. Mind answerin' my question, or did the fall scramble your brain?

[He doubts that.]

[He glares a little at that question.]

No. Isn't it obvious what we're doing?

[Of course it's not Crow, you came jumping down out of nowhere. Then again you are the type to do that to people...]
