[Hello everyone! We hope you've been having a good day, that things are going well for you, and that you don't care about the kid that suddenly jumps down from the roof near you without any warning. Because that's exactly what Crow is doing as we speak: all day he's been climbing up onto the roofs of different small houses or trees, and then jumping down, trying to get the wings to work. You see, Crow is restless, and when he's restless, he tends to do...well, stupid things sometimes.

Of course the wings don't work though and he plummets like a stone, but luckily lands right on his feet just fine in most cases, or even if he doesn't land so gracefully, he gets right back up and walks it off. Eventually though he seems to have gotten frustrated.]

What's the point of having wings if they don't even let you fly!?

[If you're going to approach him, be careful about having anything shiny on your person when you do: Crow sometimes has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him as well. ((ooc: Don't worry though, you will get your stuff back if he actually tries to take anything.))]

[Not to mention that he's not the type to tell you if you did anyway.]

But then how else-?

[It finally dawns on him, the only other way Crow could know where they are is if...]

You took 'em? Why the hell would you do that?

[tomodachi]

[Ding ding ding, we have a winner! He was starting to think you were never going to figure this out.]

Because I could? [Crow, no.] Besides, I'm gonna be a pirate, remember? Can't do that without some experience in finding and taking shiny treasure for my own. [That's still a terrible reason, Crow.]

[immamartillo]

[He kicks the wall in front of him, just to let out some anger. Secretly, he's now more annoyed at himself that he didn't notice Crow taking them. That kid must be even better than Firo himself was at that age.]

That's no excuse! And why'd you hafta taken 'em from me? There's plenty a' other people around here!

[tomodachi]

[Who says he hasn't tried taking the things of other people here too... Crow is vaguely surprised at the other's anger--Seto never got that angry when we took what was more or less a treasure a family member gave him...but he still keeps a flippant tone nonetheless.]

Yeah, but you just happened to be nearby. [That's what you get for hanging out with Crow...]

[He stops shouting for the moment, but otherwise doesn't show any sign of calming down soon; Crow being so relaxed seems to make him even more angry.]

You didn't need to take anything from me. And why the hell didn't you tell me that you had 'em? I asked you if you'd seen 'em!

[tomodachi]

[Ignoring the first part of what you said.] You said, "Did you see anything round and kinda shiny lyin' around?", and I didn't see them "lyin' around", which I even told you when you asked.

[...For a guy who acts like he has no idea of how manners works or acts like the type to not bother remembering them even if he knew, he sure seems to have remembered some exact wording of that conversation well enough. (Although the second time you asked I'm pretty sure he has no excuse for that)]

Are you kiddin' me? You're just tryin' to be a problem, aren't you?

[He turns on his heel as if he's about to storm off, but then stops and spins back around.]

So hand 'em over.

[tomodachi]

...And if I don't feel like handing them over?

[They are shiny coins, he likes them, so why would he want to give them back?]

[immamartillo]

[He blinks, surprised that Crow isn't going along with his demand.]

Why the hell do you wanna keep 'em that badly?

[tomodachi]

Do I need a reason?

[We do promise though it's not because he doesn't like you or something.]

[immamartillo]

Yeah, you do, 'cause I want 'em back right now if you haven't got a good reason.

[He knows he can't catch Crow if he tries to run, but he hopes that Crow will give in anyway--they'd run into each other again sooner or later. Of course, Firo overestimates his ability to intimidate people.]

[tomodachi]

[Yeah you don't scare him. But fine, he will give a reason.]

I like them. They're shiny, and the sort of thing pirates steal anyway to keep in their treasure chests. You don't actually expect a pirate to just hand it over that easily, do you?

[There, you have two reasons why he doesn't want to hand them over.]

[He opens his mouth to threaten force, but shuts it again when he realizes that he'd never be able to back it up. Seto would hate him for it.]

Pirates don't steal from their friends.

[Realizing that his case as a friend is pretty weak, he adds:]

Or the friends of their friends.

[tomodachi]

[He opens his mouth to point out that he wouldn't steal from his friends (or rather, from Seto) but that second part actually makes him hesitate for a second. Really, all Firo would have to do is just tell Seto that Crow stole something of his and then Seto would ask Crow to give it back. Would he be upset about his best friend taking things that belonged to his other friends...?

In response, Crow finally just ends up making a slight "tch" sound and looking away. But at least it doesn't look like he's going to run off now or offer any dumb excuses about keeping them...]

I'm not stealing them then, I'm borrowing them. [Whoops spoke to soon. Also a very weak attempt to deflect potentially using Seto as a reason again for why he shouldn't keep them...]

[Firo'd been sure bringing up Seto would be instant victory, but he tries not to let it put him off when Crow doesn't cave as hoped.]

You're not. You didn't even ask me before you took 'em--that's not borrowin'! Would you even have told me you had 'em if I hadn't figured it out?

[His tone implies that he thinks he already knows the answer and it's a no.]

[tomodachi]

[...shrugs] Maybe.

[That's a big "maybe"--if you hadn't figured it out just now before he walked off, he might not have given anything away further until later today, tomorrow, next week, or never. At some point though, you would end up finding out eventually. You're just lucky that you found out sooner.]

[foundafamily]

Yeah, sure. You seriously expect me to believe that?

[He's stuck for what to say now. Force tends to be his fallback, but that's not an option here. Seto likes Crow too much and Firo's still clinging to the hope of them getting alone. Besides, Crow's just a kid. A bratty kid, but a kid.

It's crazy, but he's starting to wonder if being the more mature person and walking away is the best option.]

Look, if you give 'em back to me now, I won't get mad.

[That's a lie; he already is mad.]

[tomodachi]

You're already mad at us...

[See even Crow can tell that you're mad!]

[He has no choice but to concede--though it was already highly doubtful that Crow wouldn't notice how much he's gotten on Firo's nerves.

...Yeah, I am. But I won't get more mad.

[tomodachi]

...If I'm not scared of you now, what makes you think that you getting madder will change anything?

[It would suck if Firo really was that mad at us, but he's never been one to cave so easily. Seto was mad when we stole his locket, but it took falling off a ferris wheel for Crow to finally give up...]

Because then I'd have to do something about it.

[Give it a rest, Firo, you've never been good at threatening people. But he is concerned that he'd try to hurt Crow if he got much more annoyed. By this point he's almost forgotten that all they're arguing over is a few coins; it's more about not wanting to give in to Crow than anything else. ]

[tomodachi]

...Okay. [Out of the blue, he seems to have suddenly agreed--he's gotten bored with them just standing around and talking.] Maybe I'll give them back to you...if you play a game with me first!

[Ah, of course he wouldn't make it easy.] If you win the game, then I'll give them back. If you don't, then I get to keep them. What do you say?

[foundafamily]

[He was silly to think Crow would hand them over without being a pest. At least there's a resolution in sight, so he sighs and rolls his eyes.]

Depends. What's the game?

[tomodachi]

First, meet me back at the house! Then I'll tell you, got it? ...Oh, but you better not take too long! [Or else...or else he'll change his mind or something.]

Tallyho! [And then without much further warning, he's suddenly running away, though it does look he's indeed heading back towards the house at least.]
