[Hello everyone! We hope you've been having a good day, that things are going well for you, and that you don't care about the kid that suddenly jumps down from the roof near you without any warning. Because that's exactly what Crow is doing as we speak: all day he's been climbing up onto the roofs of different small houses or trees, and then jumping down, trying to get the wings to work. You see, Crow is restless, and when he's restless, he tends to do...well, stupid things sometimes.

Of course the wings don't work though and he plummets like a stone, but luckily lands right on his feet just fine in most cases, or even if he doesn't land so gracefully, he gets right back up and walks it off. Eventually though he seems to have gotten frustrated.]

What's the point of having wings if they don't even let you fly!?

[If you're going to approach him, be careful about having anything shiny on your person when you do: Crow sometimes has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him as well. ((ooc: Don't worry though, you will get your stuff back if he actually tries to take anything.))]

It's called a shuriken.

A "shuriken", huh... [Never heard of anyone using one of those before (he's more familiar with stuff like swords and guns), but it sounds interesting....and it does look shiny.] How do you use it?

Throw it back, then give me a target! [She hasn't used it much since she got here, and she can't help but show off.]

Target? [...But he doesn't want to give it back yet. Instead he looks around for a target first, pointing at a nearby tree.]

Like what, that tree or something?

That works. Or you could give me a bit of harder one.

[A harder one?] Such as...?

Further away, right by another tree.

Oh...like over there?

[Pointing to the farthest tree away from them that he can still see that isn't being blocked by a building or a person or anything like that.]

Looks good to me. [She'll hold her hand out for the weapon now.]

[Crow's not paying attention and doesn't seem to notice the extended hand as he's still looking down at the shuriken now, wondering how exactly she plans to use this (probably gonna throw it at the tree or something)...though it's right in arm's reach, she could easily snatch it back herself.]

[Alright then, she'll spin around to grab it, and hold onto it just long enough through her spin to get it going, and hurl it to the tree, cutting off the top of the tree.

Which she hits easily. She'll even wait a moment before reaching above her head to catch it.]

[Wha--hey, we were still looking at...

...You know what, never mind, watching it cut off the top of a tree is enough to distract him.]

Whoa, that was awesome!

Now you see why it's such a good weapon!

[Ah showing off. It always feels so good.]

Yeah! It might even be as cool as the stuff pirates fight with...I kinda wanna try doing stuff with a weapon like that too...

[Crow, no...]

I can teach fighting, and a few weapons if you want.

[She misses teaching kids..]

Really? [While normally the idea of...learning things can be a little dull, at least learning something useful like fighting or using a weapon or such would be good, especially considering what this place is like apparently...]

What kind of fighting stuff do you know how to do? Anything other than just punching and kicking?

I know a lot of different fighting styles, and weapons. I could even train you to be a ninja!

[Because she has yet to find another ninja here.]

"Ninja"? [What exactly are those anyway, we only really know about pirates...]

Why does nobody know about ninjas?? [That's starting to get annoying.]

I'll just say they're really good fighters...

Oh. [A slight pause] Are there ninja pirates?

[This is a legitimately serious question and your answer hinges on whether or not he'll be interested about being a ninja.]

There might be? There's no pirates in my world. But I don't see why not.

You guys don't have pirates? Man, your world is really missing out...

[That aside--] But if pirates can be ninjas too, then yeah, I'd be interested in hearing about ninja stuff!

Well, we have monsters to compensate for that.

Alright. So what kind of stuff do you want to learn?

[Hrm...] I guess whatever you have to know to be able to fight and be a ninja--the important stuff.

The fighting is easy. Learning how to be a ninja is much harder.
