[Crow blinks a little in surprise at that, but then he grins.]

Yeah, no problem! Plus, once you rest or whatever, I bet you'd be able to do even more cool fire tricks like before. [Because who doesn't like setting stuff on fire amiright.]

That's right! I just need a minute...then I'll be ready.

[In the meantime she looked down from where she was and frowned. She would have preferred to be on the ground, but she wasn't sure if she could make it down easily.]

...What are you looking at?

[Other than the ground, he means, unless there's something shiny down there we somehow didn't notice yet.]

Nothing! [Oops! She wasn't about to get help from him a second time if she could help it.

That did mean that she would have to sit in the rather uncomfortable tree for a little longer though. Boo.]

If there was something there I would have jumped down to get it already. [Haha...ha.]

[Crow looks down at the ground now, perhaps even a little intently as if trying to somehow see something from all the way up here.]

...Yeah, I don't see anything either. Nothing interesting, anyway.

[SAFE. For now, anyway. Now for the quick change in subject...]

Hey, why aren't you tired yet? You were using magic too.

Heh, no clue. [Actually no, he does know. He's been feeling the energy drain for a little while, which is why he's currently sitting on this branch here now. But he covers up his own exhaustion with a broad grin.]

Maybe I'm just special?

"Special", huh? [A lopsided smile.] Sure, I'll go along with that. I'm special too, though!

[One day she would learn to think before speaking, but that day was not today.]

Oh yeah? [Judging by his tone though, he doesn't actually sound skeptical this time, as if he was already thinking something like that, but--] You mean there's something special besides the cool wings?

[disastergirl]

Of course! What, you can't tell? [Because that was totally a thing you could notice just by looking.]

C'mon, it should be obvious!

[staaare...sorry, maybe he's a little dense]

Well I guess you're kinda cool even without the fancy wings?

[disastergirl]

[She frowned, almost looking a little...disappointed?]

Well, I suppose that'll have to do for now.

[By that point she had apparently decided that she had spent enough time resting, because she slid off the tree branch and attempted to use her wings to slow her descent.

This was not going to go well.]

Thread with Firo

I'm sure he's fine! It's just a matter of finding him so that he can come up here to play with us!

[Little does Firo know that Seto is also possessed by Kipinn last we heard, so who knows how well that "being careful" thing might turn out.]

He better be.

[Firo doesn't know why he's suddenly gritting his teeth just at the thought of Seto possibly not being okay. Crow's right; it's very unlikely that he wouldn't be fine.]

Wanna look around for him some more?

[They have a good vantage point, and Firo needs more practice flying anyway.]

Yeah, alright! 'Sides, we should fly around some more anyway while we're up here!

[(It's probably a good thing this is only temporary, or else Crow might seriously consider never touching solid ground again that isn't a roof.)]

[He smiles.]

Yeah, we should. While we still can.

Which way do ya wanna go?

[While we still can what is that supposed to mean. Crow does a bit of a twirl around in the air as he thinks about it, before pointing in a random direction.]

How about that way? I don't think we looked over there yet.

[foundafamily]

[Functional wings are limited edition only! Firo turns to the direction Crow indicated.]

Yeah, that looks good to me!

[He starts flying, a little faster than before, but Crow shouldn't be in any danger of falling behind.

After a little while, he notices that one of the little people down below looks somewhat familiar, and he drops down a few feet to verify.]

...Hey, is that him?

[tomodachi]

[Nope, Crow's keeping up with him rather well. Until Firo drops down a few feet, which takes him a second to drop down too to the same height now to see who Firo's indicating.]

...Yeah, it might be! [And without further ado, he drops down even further enough so that he can call out loudly and get their attention whether they're right or not--] Hey, Seto! Look up here!!

[It takes a moment for Seto to actually find where the voice is coming from when he hears it, first looking on the roofs and trees around him then he finally looks straight up and smiles]

Crow, Firo!! I was wondering where you two were! [One trip to the store for a few minutes and they flew off.]

[foundafamily]

[It is him! Firo joins Crow in lowering his altitude, working his way down so that eventually he's hovering just a couple feet over Seto's head.]

We were lookin' for you! We decided to start flyin' around a bit; didn't mean to disappear on you.

[tomodachi]

[Hehehe. Crow's altitude drops just a little bit further, holding a hand out.]

You should try flying too! It's awesome, and you can practically see everything from up here!

[Come with us Seto!!]

[Truth be told Seto did actually try to fly earlier when he saw other people doing it. He didn't go but a few inches off the ground though, even though he could've--wanted to go higher. But underneath the butterflies in his stomach was what almost seemed like worry. He's never flown before...

But with Crow and Firo, they can help him and it'll be more fun than trying by himself. So he reaches out and grabs his friend's hand with a bright smile, pushing himself off the ground with a flap of his wings] Then let's go! I want to fly and see everything with you guys!

Oh shoot, I'm so sorry, I didn't see this :'(

[Firo flutters backward to give Seto some space to spread out his wings and get used to the air. He's excited that Seto decided to join them; that feeling's betrayed by the silly grin he's wearing right now.]
