[Hello everyone! We hope you've been having a good day, that things are going well for you, and that you don't care about the kid that suddenly jumps down from the roof near you without any warning. Because that's exactly what Crow is doing as we speak: all day he's been climbing up onto the roofs of different small houses or trees, and then jumping down, trying to get the wings to work. You see, Crow is restless, and when he's restless, he tends to do...well, stupid things sometimes.

Of course the wings don't work though and he plummets like a stone, but luckily lands right on his feet just fine in most cases, or even if he doesn't land so gracefully, he gets right back up and walks it off. Eventually though he seems to have gotten frustrated.]

What's the point of having wings if they don't even let you fly!?

[If you're going to approach him, be careful about having anything shiny on your person when you do: Crow sometimes has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him as well. ((ooc: Don't worry though, you will get your stuff back if he actually tries to take anything.))]

[His scowl darkens even more; he's irritated with himself for letting on that the kick hurt. The impact shows well enough with how he doesn't try to shorten the distance between them now that Crow's moved away.]

I was tryin' to talk to you! You can't just swipe things outta people's hands!

[Or their pockets, but Firo still hasn't realized that he has that to be indignant about as well.]

I can do whatever I want. [He's a brat, sorry. Besides, swiping things out of hands is how he met Seto.] Besides, you acted like my name was weird.

[Which...Firo didn't actually say, but he did imply that it wasn't "normal"...]

[immamartillo]

No, you--That's what got you so worked up?

[Considering the thing's Firo's done to people for commenting on his appearance, he shouldn't sound so surprised. Part of him wants to tell Crow to get over it, but he still retains the hope of them getting along someday so he stops short.]

You coulda' just said somethin' instead of freakin' out on me!

[tomodachi]

...Well now you know.

[Sorry not sorry. And then he seemingly loses interest in Firo's pain and annoyance as he tucks the movies he was holding under one arm and opens the book he swiped with the other, glancing through it a little.]

[immamartillo]

[He watches Crow look through the book, scuffing the toe of his shoe on the ground. He manages to hold back his anger, but it soon becomes impatience.]

So what do you think?

[tomodachi]

[Crow...doesn't answer. Maybe he didn't hear you?

Either that or apparently the book is interesting enough to keep his attention rather than bothering to look up or say anything yet.]

[immamartillo]

[He steps over to Crow and reaches to shake his shoulder. He's not sure if he should be concerned or just ticked off.]

Hey, you listenin'? I was talkin to you.

[tomodachi]

[Well that gets his attention, although it amounts to a slight glare as if you just interrupted something before he takes a short step back with a small huff of annoyance.]

What? I was trying to read...

[immamartillo]

[He frowns back, crossing his arms.]

I was askin' if you liked it so far. If you wanna read it we can take it home with us.

[tomodachi]

Oh. [...] Well I was planning on taking it back with me anyway.

[Because taking things for the sake of taking them is totally legit.]

[immamartillo]

...Wait, even if you didn't like it?

[He wonders if that's Crow being strange or if the kid feels obligated to take it.]

You don't hafta read it if you don't want to. It was just an idea.

[tomodachi]

[It's both...also he actually does like it in this case, as he pulls the book closer to his person. Doesn't stop him from sounding mildly rude about it though.]

Well I can't read it if people are distracting me, obviously.

[immamartillo]

It was just one question! If it bothers you so much, then learn to focus better.

[Firo doesn't realize that he basically just told Crow to ignore him.]

But now that I've got your attention, are you done here?

[tomodachi]

Maybe--why, do you have somewhere else to be or something?

[Which is...mildly hypocritical for him to ask considering how much of a hurry Crow always is to leave or get to places he wants to go to...]

[immamartillo]

Well, no-

[He shakes his head before he can finish his reply.]

How's that any business of yours? There's no point in stickin' around if we've got what we need here.

[tomodachi]

Then don't. If you wanna leave, then why don't you just leave?

[It looks like somebody doesn't get the idea of both of them leaving at the same time to go back to the house.]

[immamartillo]

Wha-? I thought we'd go back together!

[Once again, Firo completely neglects the no-yelling in the library rule. He unfolds his arms to jam his hands in his pockets, squaring his shoulders and just stopping short of sticking his nose in the air.]

But fine! If you're gonna be difficult, I can just got back by myself.

[tomodachi]

[Crow actually looks surprised at the other's outburst for a few seconds...but then he's turning to look away too because SCREW CAVING IN FIRST.]

Fine. Do whatever you want, 'cause I'm not leaving until I feel like it.

[immamartillo]

[...Well, that's not the reaction Firo wanted. But he can't back down.]

All right then. I'm leavin'. I hope you weren't thinkin' of gettin' my help to find anymore books!

[It's a pretty weak jab, and he knows it, so he takes a few steps toward the door. Slowly, so he can tell Crow's reaction.]

[tomodachi]

Who said I needed your help anyway?

[IGNORING YOU NOW BECAUSE THE BOOKS ON THE SHELF IN FRONT OF US ARE WAY MORE INTERESTING TO LOOK AT......



...Crow's totally not side-glancing towards the door to see if Firo really is leaving or not.]

[immamartillo]

[He looks over his shoulder and calls back:]

I could tell you which books are good or not!

[Firo, aren't you supposed to be leaving? Unable to procrastinate any longer and maintain his self respect, Firo reaches the door and opens it. He does glance back at Crow before he steps outside, just to see if he'll crack first.]

[tomodachi]

I can figure that out on my own, thanks.

[Crow's a stubborn idiot, he's not gonna stop Firo from walking out that door so easily--he only spares Firo a look for a few seconds before instead he seems to be more interested in shuffling the book and movies he was holding in his arms into a more manageable pile to carry...]

[immamartillo]

Fine!

[Before he takes that last step out, he adds weakly:]

...I'll see you back at the house.

[He turns to go, suddenly realizing as his hands sink deeper into his pockets that the change in them is gone. Did he drop it..? It's not so important, but it is something from home. He contemplates poking around the shelves again to see if he dropped it there, but doesn't want to give Crow the idea that he "won."

Still, he looks pretty silly just standing there in the doorway.]

[tomodachi]

[...After a long moment of trying to ignore the other, Crow finally turns his attention proper towards the door.]

Why are you just standing there? I thought you were in a huge hurry to get out of here already.

[immamartillo]

I am! I just...I think I dropped somethin'.

[He's reluctant to ask Crow for help, but he has his attention anyway.]

Did you see anything round and kinda shiny lyin' around? There's a few of 'em, they're kinda small.

[Just in case Crow doesn't know what coins are.]
