[Hello everyone! We hope you've been having a good day, that things are going well for you, and that you don't care about the kid that suddenly jumps down from the roof near you without any warning. Because that's exactly what Crow is doing as we speak: all day he's been climbing up onto the roofs of different small houses or trees, and then jumping down, trying to get the wings to work. You see, Crow is restless, and when he's restless, he tends to do...well, stupid things sometimes.

Of course the wings don't work though and he plummets like a stone, but luckily lands right on his feet just fine in most cases, or even if he doesn't land so gracefully, he gets right back up and walks it off. Eventually though he seems to have gotten frustrated.]

What's the point of having wings if they don't even let you fly!?

[If you're going to approach him, be careful about having anything shiny on your person when you do: Crow sometimes has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him as well. ((ooc: Don't worry though, you will get your stuff back if he actually tries to take anything.))]

[Crow folds his arms across himself, almost pouting now too. Considering his namesake, that's rather disappointing to have wings only for them to not work...]

Yeah well, they're stupid either way whether they did it on purpose or not.

[She almost cracked a smile at that. It was kind of nice to know that she wasn't the only one frustrated about it.]

Well, I can't argue with that... [A pause.] Hey, do you think there's a way to fix them? As long as we're stuck with them we might as well try to find out.

[tomodachi]

[Oh thank god somebody around here agrees.]

Yeah, there's gotta be some way to get them to work--it's such a waste otherwise to have wings and not even use them for anything.

[disastergirl]

I know, right? I don't know about you, but I'm going to start working on that right this second!

[Not to mention that this little project would give her something else to think about for a little while. She had spent too much time inside for her liking.

...Although that wasn't saying much.]

[tomodachi]

Right... [And now he's staring at you for a moment before he realizes that we don't know you and haven't spoken to you before until now, whoops.]

...And you are?

[disastergirl]

[She frowned and tilted her head a bit as he stared at her. It hadn't occurred to her that someone might think she was strange for being so gung-ho about it.]

Jane. Who are you?

[tomodachi]

[He doesn't think it's strange--he just thinks it's better to get a stranger's name first before he keeps talking.]

Well, you can call me "Crow"; C-R-O-W...

[Yes, he spells it out for her benefit even though she likely could have figured out how to spell it on her own.]

I already know how to spell "Crow". You don't need to do it for me.

[That frown turned into more of a scowl. What, did he think she was too stupid to know how to spell it? Gosh. Jane, why must you always jump to conclusions...]

And I know how to write it too! [With fancy penmanship and everything!]

[Oh Jane, you shouldn't say things like that without expecting him to want to see for himself...]

Oh yeah? Prove it.

I will, then! [She swung back inside her room to fetch a notepad and pen before coming back to the windowsill. For a moment she considered showing off, as she was wont to do, but instead she opted for her usual big and looping handwriting. His name was spelled right and that was what mattered!]

[She even walked over to show it to him. ...Whether that was a good idea or not remained to be seen.]

[It probably is a bad idea, if you happen to have anything shiny on your person within arms reach. But Crow just reaches out to take the notepad to look at.]

...Your handwriting's kinda funny. [Rather big and looping...then again, he really has no write to judge other people's handwriting...]

[Well, the handle of her gun was showing, but that wasn't the part with the gold-coloured engraving on it...]

What does that have to do with anything? All I had to do was spell your name, and I did.

[puts her hands on her hips.]

[Ooh, what's that...]

...Well it's a good thing I told you then, since it looks like you did at least spell it right. [Crow she already knew before you said anything...]

[Something that will make her very upset if it's stolen? Also she's the thief of her party so uh]

That didn't have anything to do with it! I'm perfectly capable of doing a lot of different things without help, you know.

[Uh oh, it was looking like her pride was a little bruised.]

[tomodachi]

[Well it's not like this thief happens to know that...]

Like what?

[disastergirl]

Anything. Just name it and I'm sure I'll be able to do it!

[She totally wasn't setting herself up for failure here, nope.]

[tomodachi]

Can you do any tricks? [Crow she's not a dog, although that's honestly not what he means by that--] Like acrobatic ones--handstands, cartwheels, that sort of stuff? Or any magic things?

[He very rarely sees anyone other than him (regarding acrobatic stunts that is, he can't actually do magic himself) doing anything like that around here, unless you count the show-offs that train over at the Battle Dome or...the ninjas, maybe.]

[Yikes, his quick clarification just barely prevented a haughty outburst.]

Acrobatic stuff? I haven't done any handstands or cartwheels in a while, but I'm pretty sure I could still do them... [Her usual wardrobe stopped her from doing them very often, though. Did that stop her from assuming she could do it anyway? Nope!]

As for magic, let's just say that I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. [grins.]

Really? Well let's see what'cha got!

Hmmm~ ☆ Should I show you or should I not... [Okay, now she was just being mean.]

Tell you what, if you can find a big open area for me, then I'll show you. Sound fair?

[tomodachi]

[He looks around a little, trying to figure out where a good place would be.]

Like...over there? [Pointing over to an area that doesn't have too many trees or buildings or people crowding around it.] Is that open enough for you?

Hmmm... It's close! [She walked back to her building to drop off the notepad and close her window.] If I go out just a little bit farther than that it'll be perfect.

[Probably.]

[tomodachi]

Then let's get going already!

[Crow isn't very patient, as he's already preparing to head out over there, naturally expecting that she'll follow.]

[disastergirl]

[Aww, that was (usually) her line.]

Wha--? Hey! Wait for me! [running to catch up!]

[tomodachi]

[He doesn't wait up, though he'll slow his pace down by a hair so that it's not entirely impossible for her to catch up as he leads the way over to the indicated place...and a little bit farther than that like she said she wanted.]

Here we are--so, let's see it! [Nope no slowing down for this one we wanna see the magic stuff now!]
